The Biden Foundation opened its doors on February 1, 2017 — one year ago today.
In its first year, the Foundation built a powerful team of passionate advocates and policy experts, forged connections with people and organizations across the country, and continually built on Vice President and Dr. Biden’s lifelong commitment to advancing dignity and opportunity for all people.
While reflecting on this milestone and the highlights of 2017, the Foundation team recommits to making progress in its areas of focus: advancing community colleges, ending violence against women, ensuring LGBTQ equality, strengthening the middle class, and supporting military families.
The Biden Foundation has the deepest gratitude for its donors, supporters, and the people and organizations working day and night to secure a better future for all Americans.
The Foundation looks forward to another year of public service and productive collaboration with its partners.
